| Abstract | Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are digital systems for recording patient health information that enable efficient access, management, and storage of medical data. This study was motivated by the need to improve healthcare service quality through faster and more accurate documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of EMR digitalization on staff work efficiency and accuracy. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at dr. H. Yuliddin Away Regional General Hospital, South Aceh, in 2026. The study population consisted of medical records staff, and the sample comprised three medical records staff members selected using total sampling. The results indicated that EMR implementation accelerated the documentation process, facilitated data access, and reduced data entry errors, although technical challenges, such as network connectivity issues and the need for further training, remained. It is recommended that the hospital provide regular training and improve its technological infrastructure to support the smooth implementation and use of EMR systems. | 1 |
