Abstract Quantitative Statistical Analysis of Healthcare Care at Metta Medika Hospital Padangsidimpuan for the Period January – March 2026. Undergraduate Thesis. Applied Bachelor Study Program of Health Information Management, Faculty of Public Health, Health Institute of Deli Husada Deli Tua. Supervisor: Dr. Nur Mala Sari, S.Kep., M.Kes., Bd. Healthcare statistics serve as a crucial information source for evaluating service efficiency and bed utilization in hospitals. This study aimed to quantitatively analyze healthcare statistics for BPJS Health inpatient care at Metta Medika Hospital Padangsidimpuan during the January – March 2026 period. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. Secondary data were gathered from the medical record unit, comprising 2,449 discharged patient files obtained through a total sampling technique. Data were processed and analyzed using Microsoft Excel to calculate inpatient statistical indicators, code primary diagnoses according to ICD-10, code main procedures according to ICD-9 CM, and assess operational efficiency via the Barber Johnson Chart. The results showed a Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) of 79.82% (within the standard efficiency range of 60–85%). The Bed Turn Over (BTO) was 79.59 times, which is relatively high compared to the standard (40–50 times/year). The Turn Over Interval (TOI) of 0.75 days and Average Length of Stay (ALOS) of 3.02 days were both below standard efficiency benchmarks (TOI: 1–3 days; ALOS: 6–9 days). According to the Barber Johnson Chart, bed utilization fell outside the ideal efficiency zone due to high patient turnover and short lengths of stay. The mostdominant primary diagnosis group according to ICD-10 Chapter was Chapter XV (Pregnancy, Childbirth and Puerperium) with 651 cases (26.58%), with Typhoid Fever (A01.0) being the most frequent specific disease at 240 cases. The most frequently performed main procedure was Caesarean Section (ICD-9 CM Code 74.99) with 504 interventions. Overall, bed utilization at Metta Medika Hospital Padangsidimpuan demonstrated high usage rates but has not yet reached ideal efficiency standards. The hospital management is recommended to evaluate bed planning and length of stay management to optimize service quality. 1
