| Abstract | Healthcare services are a fundamental component of global health development, oriented towards improving the quality of life. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing nurse performance in the inpatient unit of Mitra Medika Hospital in 2026. This study employed a quantitative approach with an observational analytical design. This quantitative approach is used to objectively measure the influence between independent and dependent variables using numerical data. This study was conducted at Mitra Medika Hospital, Tanjung Mulia, specifically in the inpatient unit. The study was scheduled for March-April 2026. The sample size was 57 respondents. The sampling method used was a purposive sampling technique. Based on the bivariate analysis, age, length of service, motivation, workload, and communication significantly influenced nurse performance in the inpatient unit of Mitra Medika Hospital in 2026. The results of this study indicate that proportional workload management needs to be a priority for hospital management through adjusting the number of nurses, balancing task allocation, and organizing effective work schedules. Therefore, optimal workload management is a top priority in efforts to improve nurse performance and the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. Nurses are expected to increase their work motivation and sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties, establish good communication with fellow healthcare workers and patients, and manage their work time effectively to cope with the existing workload. | 1 |
