Abstract Dermatitis is one of the most common occupational diseases among auto-motive workshop technicians due to exposure to chemicals such as oil, lubricants, gasoline, and other irritant substances. This study aimed to determine the rela-tionship between length of employment and personal hygiene with dermatitis symptoms among technicians at Trans Sumatera Andalan Workshop in 2026. This study used a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 30 respondents selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 63.3% of re-spondents experienced dermatitis symptoms, 53.3% had a short working period, and 56.7% had poor personal hygiene. Statistical analysis indicated a significant relationship between length of employment and dermatitis symptoms (p = 0.007), as well as between personal hygiene and dermatitis symptoms (p = 0.023). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between length of employment and personal hygiene with dermatitis symptoms among techni-cians at Trans Sumatera Andalan Workshop in 2026. 1
