| Abstract | Every year, more than 1.4 million children worldwide die from various diseases that could actually be prevented by immunization. The completeness of immunizations given to children can also affect their health. The achievement of complete immunization in North Barus District over the past three years has been unstable since 2022-2024. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the achievement of complete basic immunization (IDL) in infants in the work area of the UPTD Barus Utara Health Center, North Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2025. This type of research is a quantitative survey study with a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted at the North Barus Health Center, North Barus District, with a sample size of 95 mothers who have babies aged 10-12 months. Based on the results of the study, the provision of basic immunizations to infants at the North Barus Health Center was mostly incomplete, as much as 54.2 percent. Statistical results indicate a relationship between maternal characteristics based on age (p-value = 0.031), education (p-value = 0.005), occupation (p-value = 0.008), number of children (p-value = 0.004), maternal knowledge (p-value = 0.001), maternal attitude (p-value = 0.002), family support (p-value = 0.003), and the role of integrated health post (Puskesmas) cadres (p-value = 0.003) and complete basic immunization for infants at the North Barus Community Health Center in 2025. It is recommended that the North Barus Community Health Center create a special additional program during the Puskesmas to provide education on basic immunization for infants, including or inviting close family members (such as mothers and husbands). | id |
