| Abstract | The 5R culture (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) is a workplace culture aimed at creating an organized, clean, safe, and efficient work environment to enhance employee performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of the 5R culture and employee performance at the Dolok Masihul Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas), Serdang Bedagai Regency, in 2026. This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population and sample consisted of 60 employees, selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods, specifically the Chi-Square test. The results showed that among the 34 respondents with good implementation of the 5R culture, 27 (79.4%) demonstrated good performance, while 7 (20.6%) demonstrated poor performance. Meanwhile, among the 26 respondents with poor implementation of the 5R culture, 9 (34.6%) demonstrated good performance, whereas 17 (65.4%) demonstrated poor performance. The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.001. Since the p-value (0.001) was less than α (0.05), the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of the 5R culture and employee performance at the Dolok Masihul Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas), Serdang Bedagai Regency.
