| Abstract | ABSTRACT Work accidents are one of the occupational problems that may be influenced by employees' length of service and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices. This study aimed to determine the relationship between working period and employee compliance in implementing OHS with the occurrence of work accidents among employees of PT Eka Nitra Pratama Namo Pakam, Namo Rambe District, in 2026. This study used an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 40 employees selected using the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between employee compliance with OHS practices and the occurrence of work accidents (p-value = 0.016). Most employees who complied with OHS procedures had never experienced a work accident (70.8%), while employees who were non-compliant were more likely to have experienced work accidents (68.8%). The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between employee compliance in implementing OHS and the occurrence of work accidents among employees of PT Eka Nitra Pratama Namo Pakam. | 1 |
