| Abstract | Low Back Pain (LBP) is a common musculoskeletal disorder that may affect workers’ health and productivity. This study aimed to determine the relationship between work tenure and Body Mass Index (BMI) and the risk of Low Back Pain (LBP) among spray workers at PT SMA Asian Agri, Kampung Rakyat District, in 2026. This study aimed to determine the relationship work tenure and Body Mass Index (BMI) and the risk of Low Back Pain (LBP) among spray workers at PT SMA Asian Agri, Kampung Rakyat District, in 2026. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 30 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, body weight measurements, and height measurements, and were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a long work tenure (>5 years), most had a normal to overweight Body Mass Index (BMI), and some respondents were at risk of experiencing Low Back Pain. The bivariate analysis revealed a significant association between work tenure and the risk of Low Back Pain among spray workers, with a p-value of 0.015 (p < 0.05,this risult concluded there was a significant association between Body Mass Index (BMI) and the risk of Low Back Pain among spray workers, with a p-value of 0.003 (p < 0.05). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between work tenure and Body Mass Index (BMI) and the risk of Low Back Pain among spray workers. It is recommended that workers maintain a healthy Body Mass Index and that the company continue to strengthen workplace health promotion and Low Back Pain prevention programs. | 1 |
