| Abstract | Low Back Pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders experienced by farmers due to manual, repetitive work activities and non-ergonomic working postures. Poor implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) behavior, including inadequate knowledge, attitudes, and work practices, may increase the risk of Low Back Pain complaints among vegetable farmers. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) behavior, including knowledge, attitudes, and practices, and Low Back Pain complaints among vegetable farmers in Seberaya Village, Tigapanah District, Karo Regency in 2026. This study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all vegetable farmers in Seberaya Village, Tigapanah District, Karo Regency, with a total sample of 48 respondents selected using total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test at a 95% confidence level (α=0.05). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between OSH knowledge and Low Back Pain complaints (p-value=0.006), between attitudes toward OSH and Low Back Pain complaints (p-value=0.014), and between OSH practices and Low Back Pain complaints (p-value=0.002). The conclusion of this study way that there is a significant relationship between Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) behavior, including knowledge, attitudes, and practices, and Low Back Pain complaints among vegetable farmers in Seberaya Village, Tigapanah District, Karo Regency in 2026. Farmers are recommended to improve ergonomic work behavior to reduce the risk of Low Back Pain complaints. | 1 |
