Abstract Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disordersexperienced by workers due to non-ergonomic working postures. Oil palm harvesting workers are at high risk of developing LBP because their tasks involve bending, twisting, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive movements. This study aimed to determine the relationship between working posture and Low Back Pain complaints among oil palm harvesting workers at PT. Timbang Deli, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, in 2026.This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 26 oil palm harvesting workers, all of whom were included as the research sample using the total sampling technique. Working posture was assessed using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, while Low Back Pain complaints were measured using The Pain and Distress Scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-square test at a 95% confidence level (α=0.05). The results showed that 16 workers (61.5%) had high-risk working postures, while 14 workers (53.8%) experienced severe Low Back Pain complaints. The Chi-square test indicated a statistically significant relationship between working posture and Low Back Pain complaints (p=0.001). The Prevalence Ratio indicated that workers with high-risk working postures were 8.125 times more likely to experience Low Back Pain than those with low-risk working postures. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between working posture and Low Back Pain complaints among oil palm harvesting workers at PT. Timbang Deli. Therefore, the company is recommended to improve workplace ergonomics, provide education on proper working posture, ensure adequate rest periods, and conduct regular occupational health monitoring to reduce the risk of Low Back Pain. 1
